‘Wayfarer’ is an intellectual-autobiographical graphic novel, published in 2020 by Gnat Micro Press.
The book documents an intimate conversation, between a father and his son. The father raised and educated his family in a religious-zionist surrounding, while the son, now an adult, lives in an egalitarian-liberal community in Jerusalem. The conversation touches on the delicate subjects of living a religious Jewish life, such as guilt, doubt and faith.
The book intertwines quotes from the intellectual Micah Goodman’s book, "The Wandering Jew". The visual layers make this a unique format of comics, presenting intellectual ideas with additional dimension of emotional within its interpretation.
